Safer Recruitment Refresher (Virtual) – 11th March 2021 (09:30-13:00)
Safer Recruitment refresher delivered by video conference. Price will be based on per attendee rate with a maximum of 16 attendees. The course will be run over a 3 hour session. This course is suitable for those that have attended and passed the full Safer Recruitment Course. Many of our clients choose to refresh their qualifications every 3-5 years.
The Safer Recruitment Consortium were convened by the Department for Education in 2013 as a key provider of courses previously run by DFE, NCTL and CWDC. ALP currently delivers this course nationwide and is the chosen provider for The Independent Schools Bursars Association.
Safer Recruitment is designed to protect children’s welfare and the overall purpose of Safer Recruitment training is to help identify, deter or reject unsuitable unsafe individuals. It also provides opportunities for individuals and organisations to review their policies and practices with a view to making their settings safer.
Our training is compliant with current employment legislation, as well as relevant safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance (including KCSIE 2019 and Prevent Duty Guidance) and any guidance or code of practice published by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). It will be useful to anyone working within the Children’s workforce or those working with vulnerable adults.
With the current restrictions we are aware that schools still need safer recruitment training for key staff we are now delighted to be able to offer our customers and schools the opportunity to refresh their teams in Safer Recruitment using ZOOM online delivery.
The online course will be interactive, with plenty of opportunities for delegates to share good practice and ask any questions, delivered over one 3 hour session. The Safer Recruitment Consortium have approved this training and delegates will receive a certificate on completion.
